2 T water

1-lb lean ground beef
2 T ground brown rice

1 T crushed red pepper flakes
3 T fish sauce
juice of 1 lime
sliced onions
chopped cilantro

Cooking Instructions:

1. Put brown rice in frying pan and heat for about 1 minute. Add ground beef and brown. Add water to keep from burning & cook until water evaporates completely.
2. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients. Serve in Romaine lettuce leaves.

(Cook's note: Everyone in my family, loves this dish and it's so easy to make! You can also make this with ground pork or ground chicken. I prefer serving it in Boston Bibb, endive, or Romaine lettuce cups, but you can also serve it over rice or with clear rice noodles!)
