Thai Pork & Bamboo Shoots: Submitted by: Vickie | Date Added: 20 Apr 2015 Ingredients:

2 T oil
4 garlic cloves, crushed
12 oz ground lean pork
1 can bamboo shoots, drained
1 1/2 can sliced water chestnuts
1/4 c ground peanuts
2 t fish sauce
freshly ground black pepper
4 large green onions, thinly sliced

Cooking Instructions:

Heat oil and saute garlic until lightly colored (Stir constantly & do not burn or it will be bitter!)

Add pork & stir fry for about 2 minutes.

Add bamboo shoots and water chestnuts and cook 1 minute.

Stir in peanuts, fish sauce and half of the green onions. Remove immediately from the heat. Sprinkle with remaining green onions.
