1-1lb thinly sliced ribeye steak
Marinade:
6 T soy sauce
1 T sugar
1 T sesame oil
1/8 t pepper
4 scallions
3 cloves of garlic
1 t ginger
2 T sherry
1 T red pepper flakes
1 T sesame seeds
1 T rice wine vinegar
Romaine lettuce leaves or cooked rice
Mix marinade ingredients. Marinate beef for several hours, or overnight. Drain beef and quickly fry 1-2 minutes. Serve in lettuce leaves or over cooked white rice.
(Cook's note: I've also used this marinade for chicken & pork. Meat can also be grilled. You can also buy bottled Bulgogi sauce in the International or Asian section of most grocery stores.)
