2 lbs ground beef, cooked & drained
1/2 c green pepper
1/2 c chopped onion
1/2 c mushrooms
1 -48 oz jar of spaghetti sauce
2 T sugar
1 pkg medium egg noodles, cooked al dente & drained
1/2 c butter
1/2 t onion powder
1/2 t garlic powder
1/2 c Parmesan
12 oz shredded mozzarella
Add green pepper, onion, and mushrooms to the cooked, drained hamburger and saute 5 min. Add spaghetti sauce & simmer 20 more minutes.
Toss the hot cooked and drained egg noodles with butter, garlic powder, onion powder & Parmesan.
Spray 2 13x9 pans wit Pam. In each pan, layer 1/2 sauce, 1/2 (8oz) egg noodles, and then remaining sauce.
Top with mozzarella (8oz on each casserole)
Cover casserole with foil that has been sprayed with Pam.
Bake one and freeze or give the other one away.
Bake 45 min at 350 Degrees.
(Cook's note: To freeze, double Saran wrap over casserole, then cover with foil. Thaw and cook. I also like to make this using 1/2 hamburger and 1/2 spicy sausage!)
