12 oz (1 box) Vanilla wafers, coarsely chopped ( I use my food processor)
2 T baking cocoa
1 c 10x sugar
1/2 c Fireball whiskey
2 T white corn syrup
1 c walnuts, toasted lightly and coarsely crushed ( I prefer pecans)
Sift cocoa & 10x sugar into wafers & nut crumbs.
In a separate bowl, mix whiskey & syrup until blended. Pour liquid mixture over the dry mix & combine. Let sit several minutes.
Using a teaspoon or meatball/cookie shaper, shape into walnut sized balls. Roll into 10x sugar. Chill 1 hour. Store in air tight containers.
