2 pkgs (10 oz each) frozen lima beans
8 slices of bacon, diced
1 c chopped onion
1//2 c chopped celery
1.5 c shredded Jack cheese
1/4 t pepper
dash Worcestershire sauce
Cook lima beans in 1/2 c boiling salted water for 15 minutes; Drain and reserve 1/2 c liquid.
Fry bacon until halfway cooked. Remove from pan, drain & reserve. Discard all but 3 T bacon grease. Cook onion & celery in bacon grease until soft. Toss Lima beans with remaining ingredients, except bacon, including reserved bean liquid. Put into a greased 2 qt casserole dish. Sprinkle with bacon.
Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Serves 6-8.
