1 can crab meat (picked, rinsed & drained well)
1 stick butter
1 jar Old English cheese
2 T mayo
1/2-1 T seasoned salt
1/2 - 1 T garlic salt
6 English muffins
1. Combine 1st 6 ingredients.
2. Slice 1 package of English muffins into halves.
3. Spread crab mixture on to muffin halves and cut each half into forths.
4. Arrange muffins on 2 cookie trays.
5. Freeze at least 30 minutes. Place frozen quarters in baggies and freeze until needed.
6. When ready to cook, broil till the muffin quarters puff-up, bubble and are slightly browned.
(Cook's note: This is another one of those 70's era recipes! You always had them in the freezer for unexpected company or for a quick appetizer! It's also another of my go-to football or superbowl appetizer! You might also want to check out the shrimp version!)
