Ingredients

1-lb hot sausage, cooked & drained
1-lb ground beef, cooked & drained
1-lb Velveeta
dash Tabasco sauce
dash garlic powder

2 loaves of mini party rye cocktail bread

Cooking Instructions

Mix cooked & drained sausage and hamburger. Add remaining ingredients (except for bread) until cheese melts. Cook on low to blend.

Place a teaspoon of mixture on each bread slice. Place trays to freeze. Store frozen in freezer.

When ready to cook: Broil frozen until lightly browned.

(Cook's Note: This is another of my all time favorite appetizers from the 70's. Great to have a bagful in the freezer for a quick treat when unexpected guests show up!)
