10-12 chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
1 bottle of BBQ sauce (your choice)
1/4 c apricot preserves 2 T evoo
1/4 t garlic powder
salt, pepper, poultry seasoning & garlic powder
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Brush the bottom of a large baking dish with evoo.
Heat bbq sauce in small pan over medium high heat.
Stir in apricot preserves & garlic powder. Lower heat and let simmer.
Place chicken skin side down in oiled pan.
Sprinkle chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder and poultry seasoning. Roast for 20 minutes.
Remove chicken from oven and brush liberally over thighs. Flip chicken and season. Brush skin with sauce.
Roast for another15 minutes, then brush again with sauce.
Place under broiler for 5 minutes, or until sauce begins to Brown.
Remove from oven and let rest 5 minutes before serving.
