1 c prepared Pesto sauce
1 loaf Italian bread
2 c Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Parmesan cheese
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Place bread on cutting board. Slice bread, but DO NOT cut all the way through the bread.
3. Turn bread lengthwise. Cut into 3 long slices also without cutting through the bottom of the bread.
4. Line a cookie sheet with tin foil & spray with Pam. Place bread on prepared pan.
5. Spread Pesto sauce evenly throughout the sliced bread cuts.
6. Add Mozzarella cheese in between bread cuts.
7. Sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese. Wrap whole loaf of bread with foil.
8. Bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees; Remove from oven.
9. Cut a slit in the top of the tin foil and peel it back carefully....the steam will be hot so take care not to burn yourself!
10. Return to oven for 3-5 minutes to lightly brown the cheese.
11. Remove from oven and transfer to serving plate or cutting board.
