2 lbs frozen hash browns (I use Potato tots)
2 c shredded cheddar
1/2 t salt & pepper
1/2 t garlic powder
Small package of frozen peas and carrots
1 cup corn, drained
2 c sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/3 c milk
3 c cooked/roasted shredded chicken
Bread crumbs or cornflakes for topping
Pats of butter
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
1. Layer tots in Pam sprayed casserole dish
2. In large bowl, mix remaining ingredients, except crumbs and butter
3. Layer mix over tots
4. Sprinkle corn flakes on top of ingredients
5. Top flakes with butter pats
6. Bake uncovered, 50-60 minutes
(Cook’s note- I made 1 large and 1 small casserole by reserving about 1/4 bag of tots in a smaller casserole and putting topping on that. Original recipe calls for hash browns, but I didn’t have them so used tater tots. )
